Core Programs

We offer a wealth of resources covering Substance Abuse, Mental Health, Relapse Prevention and more! Here are some examples of our major programs:

  • OPEN TO CHANGE. This flexible, open group/open admissions program presents up to 6, 10-session modules. Each module presents a mini-journey through the stages of change, starting out with Pre-Contemplation resources and ending with Action Planning resources. Participants may enter the program at any point. Dosage supports programs with mild or severe substance abuse disorders. Available in adult, juvenile, and female versions.

  • The Bridge mental health program. Like OPEN TO CHANGE, this flexible program features 10-session modules in up to 6 units. It offers a solid, CBT-based approach for mild to moderate mental health disorders, enhanced with selected Motivational Interviewing (MI) tools, DBT elements, and critical coping skills.

  • Dual Diagnosis program. A true Dual Diagnosis program featuring parallel substance abuse and mental health tracks that may be led by separate staff (substance abuse and mental health) - or by same staff member.

Juvenile Community and Probation Resources

Comprehensive resources for probation, probation-supported programs, at-risk youth, delinquent youth, and alternative schools address substance use/abuse, behavioral health, gang involvement, and delinquency issues.

Anger Management

Our Anger resources address the roots of anger, basic anger/violence management and communication skills. We have a variety of materials ranging from workbooks to lesson-based open group models. Here are two examples:

  • Difficult Feelings Anger Unit. A 10-hour lesson-based unit that teaches awareness and self-management of symptoms and triggers to anger. Key elements include a basic cognitive-behavioral (CBT) approach, supplemented by DBT mindfulness activities, distress tolerance skills, and tools designed to assist awareness and motivation for successful symptoms self-management..

  • Managing Aggression and Violence Skills. 10 to 50-hour lesson-based programs that promote increased self-awareness and improved interpersonal and self-management skills. Each lesson includes multiple cards for role playing and problem solving.
